El proyecto turístico Indura Beach & Golf Resort cuenta en su primera fase con una inversión de 120 millones de dólares, unos 2.400 millones de lempiras.

Se realiza gracias a una alianza entre el Gobierno (49 por ciento) y la empresa privada (51 por ciento), situación que nos demuestra que se puede trabajar en conjunto y de manera exitosa por objetivos en común que beneficien a la población de Honduras.  

Este importante y gran proyecto está constituido por un hotel “boutique” cinco estrellas de 120 habitaciones, distribuidas en 30 villas de dos pisos que se encuentran conectadas unas con otras gracias a unos hermosos senderos.

En ese sentido, ofrece un esplendoroso campo de golf de 18 hoyos, nueve de ellos en medio de la jungla y el resto junto al mar, con vista a las reservas Punta Sal y Punta Izopo.

Predio deportivo que cuenta con un diseño único realizado por uno de los golfistas profesionales más reconocidos en el mundo, Gary Player.

Camilo Atala Faraj, el presidente de la Fundación Ficohsa, informó que el proyecto Indura Beach & Golf Resort se ha realizado de una forma responsable, ya que no tiene un fuerte impacto ambiental. 

De esta manera, incluyeron a empresas de los rubros de servicios, alimentos y bebidas, agencias de viaje, artesanos, construcción, líneas aéreas, alquiler de carros y muchas más.

Por ende, se ha desarrollado y aumentado la fuente de empleo en el país, generando unos 1.250 empleos directos y 3.200 empleos indirectos, mejorando la calidad de vida de las personas en la región.

Este proyecto le proporciona a Honduras una gran oportunidad de reactivar la cadena turística, generando más tráfico de personas a la zona, aumentando empleos y oportunidades para el pueblo y proporcionando más visibilidad a nivel internacional.
